Everyone knows that status is not permanent. Who will not accept that position or condition may not change? It is also known that time is not multiplied. All such facts we know but in reality, we forget them and repent later on facing the situation. The almighty evolved the life in animal kingdom up to the highest level of humans with developed brains but without languages. The only common language controlled by nerves, continuing in humans everywhere, might be then in existence. All good or bad happenings and habits of the present day are the results of the experiences and needs of humans, faced in course of growth and development.
Human civilization has seen changes from the stone age to the present age of scientific achievements. The changes have been witnessed from mega-sized machines to smaller to nono machines. Developments have been made in many fields. Humans have started exploring planetary bodies and the universe. The weapons have changed from stones of the stone age to modern-day sophisticated weapons. Since then, enemies have changed from visible to invisible types affecting everyone. Most of the changes have been recorded in black and white.
It is also a fact that every new generation has the opportunity to reap the benefits of earlier generations’ developments and achievements without experiencing the efforts made and challenges faced.
One of the facts, I think to be true is the controlling age factor and old age in humans are meant for reviewing life and educating the present generation from their experiences. This age of mine has met a minimum of three generations.
We have seen the maximum changes in social bindings from the combined family to the nuclear family, from cooperative to self-centred attitudes- a deviation from share and care culture.
I remember one incident when I had joined service in a government office where I met the father of my friend. He told about his emotions after receiving his first salary in service. He had spent his salary on the purchase of clothing for his parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters. I was surprised to note his feelings because I had sent only half of my salary to my parents. My grandfather had given all his income to his mother every month.
Now, I have grown older and am on the verge of retirement and the new generation is joining the office. I have been surprised to note that most of them purchased costly cell phones from their first salary to show their status without considering the situation of families and moral duties. The new generation has seen from copy to computer and from pen to e-system directly in one go. The earlier employees used to go to their parental houses to reside after retirement. Later, comfort played a role and settlement started in cities. Now the service opportunities are centred in a few places and the concept of ancestor houses is vanishing fast for a new generation.
These changes have mostly affected the old aged persons who have time but no one to share their experiences and expertise of life. When I was in my fifties, I was relaxed, as my father was my advisor and guide for all problems and my mother’s affectionate touch and love were my heavens. I always remained a child for them and enjoyed their experiences. One thing I remember is that in their last days they were like children having short memories and stubborn habits. I became their guardian for them till their departure from this opportunistic world. Now the question is what about me? I have a vacuum. I know the silent, unknown and sad departure of one of my friends because his sons were unable to come to meet him in his dying days. His whole life he had been praising the achievements of his sons for his status in society. We could know about his departure when his body was lying in a closed house, crying for disposal with a foul smell. All statuses proved futile last time without any social security. I am also sailing in the same boat and am worried. I think local common residences or well-managed old age homes may be promising for all aged persons.
Now, the effects of changes are as such that the new generation is not having time for themselves or family. This generation is getting treated as machines in professional life. This generation is mainly active on social media for information, time-consuming likes or comments and relationships after working time. The relations are nearer at the fingertips of gadgets but are emotionally far away due to distress and competition to prove to be excellent and exceptional. Life has been marketed to introduce the best product leading to psychological problems. Their slogan is that this life will not be met a second time, so enjoy it. There should be a new methodology to work free of distress to keep humanity alive. This generation is very sensitive and well-equipped to have an identity.
All problems have not gathered in one generation. We are expecting too much from the new generation without a proper education system and syllabus etc. We are harping on the same string for a long time. We need introspection for the new generation which is more career oriented and wants to be independent of duties towards older generations for lack of ” me time ” and costly lifestyle. We may not make every new generation scapegoat for our faults in teaching them moral, social and spiritual, etc. values and the importance of united families. It is our responsibility for the new world given to the new generation.
Besides, I have seen many changes after the economic revolution, in this one life. We have done more harm than good to ourselves through uncontrolled developments for supremacy. We have maximum adversely affected environments both surrounding and natural. We have seen the extinction of many species of birds and animals. Effects on seasons are also causing more harm to humans through erratic behaviours.
Nothing is permanent. Nature has been revealed through evolution and selection. The fittest always survive. It is the open secret of nature. It is now our turn to cautiously evaluate the progress-related activities for humans’ comfortable existence and sustainability. Otherwise, transformations may be heinous to civilization.
We should observe that nature has distributed all her resources throughout the globe, perhaps with the definite intention of evolving cooperation among all humans, besides geographical differences, for survival and existence. We are witnessing, after the division of land and ocean as properties of different nations that no nation is self-sufficient to survive alone and needs cooperation. We should have progressive scientific thinking to excel.
We have changed. We are changing at our cost.
As we grow, the tendency of checking develops, and as such that it becomes a habit in long run. It starts from a safety point of view and finally becomes unchecked, in nature. In childhood, everything remains good until a child gains strength and starts using two legs to take the first step to tread the world. The child becomes like a vehicle without brakes. The first step is always encouraged and admired by all. But the moment a child starts using the brain to think and expresses curiosity to learn and touch because everything is new, unknown and amazing, the checking starts. For a child, rope and snake are the same. A child gets attention and parents become over-conscious about the security of the child and the loss of valuable materials. It is ensured that all things should be beyond the reach of a child. Though the intention is very clear that the child may touch, engulf, get hurt and damage things, attention gets top priority. But this habit of continuous checking has psychological effects on a child in the overall development and gives mostly negative results. The situation becomes worse when a caretaker is posted for this purpose for a child because the effects of checking may be multiplied as the appointee may become extra conscious of the secured self’s service. Ultimately, because of this, the interest of the child is not properly developed. We should enjoy childhood by reasonably checking, what we don’t remember due to forgetting. They should be treated friendly to prepare for the changing world.
Children are always children. They need directions and channelling of vibrant energy along with checking for their benefits. Let them be children till they start learning worldly vices.
Such encounter with checking in the name of prohibitions from the beginning of life in day-to-day work becomes a habit when we grow. We face in life more checkings than permissions in the name of society, moralities, discipline, religions, status and culture etc.
The method of checkings may be different at different places but the aim is the same everywhere- safety, security discipline and good governance etc. – to live and let live. In checking, the law of the land is supreme and for that different departments with defined responsibilities in government offices, legal courts and vigilant agencies are established.
Apart from these, there is moral policing of social contractors, checking social life and morality, according to age-old traditions. They go to any extent in the name of cleaning society. One step ahead, religious preachers and teachers impose their checking norms on the respective communities to strictly stick to laid down rules without fail. They have their concepts developed and concluded from the prevailing thoughts of religion to hold supremacy in society. They may define every single word of religious books to check and inculcate the community. They may go to any extent in this regard, in the name of competition with each other to influence and make new followers to satiate their thirst to impose restrictions on all, in the name of heaven and God.
Sometimes, these moral policing and religious thinking are playing roles of checking above the law of land and are used by political parties to grab the seats to form a government. They add fuel to the fire. This type of stringent checking is a serious threat to unforeseen consequences in future, where self will be above nation and law.
We may not reach on conclusion in the name of liberty that checking should not be there at any stage. But we should understand that we are not wild animals and the law of the jungle ( forest ) may not be allowed in civil society. Otherwise, life will be hell and we will be worse than animals with developed brains. Civic sense should prevail.
Checking is the essential devil for certain essential requirements for all without distinction, based on age, caste, creed, community and religion. Hardliners must be checked at every stage and place for the sake of humanity, social justice, peace, growth and security of the nation.
Checking pervert thinking and teaching must draw attention before they pollute the whole system. We should check before declaring OK for all concerned.
Am I a broken soul? Do I have an entity? Why do you not break the news related to me, as breaking news, showing for many hours on your TV channels?
Such were dialogues in a stage drama in which a boy was pleading before the judge on the fates of children facing the separation of parents because of the so-called heinous divorce. It was that part of the drama in which the boy was to choose one between his father and mother to live with after their separation.
The boy was fully prepared to open his plights of life. These were social and psychological problems. The boy told with full emphasis, ” he is a living gender in the world of so-called civilized society. He should not be treated as a commodity meant for sale to one person only. He has a soul that is on the earth because of two souls who have decided to increase their family – my parents. I am not ready to miss any of them naturally or unnaturally. My mother is like earth to me, and my father is like a mentor to show me the world. I want both of them for my growth, development and sustainability.
I am a witness to the heydays of my parents’ lives. I may not accept them separately because I am not a culprit, if their attitudes change toward each other later in life, I should not bear the brunt. As a child, I have my dreams to be in life. My future is related to both of them. I need their guidance, support, and togetherness for every moment.
My parents are the judges who have decided to bring me to life. Now, I should be given the right to decide their separation which I never accept because of their changing attitudes. I do not want to be like a helpless and hopeless boy who does wait for a predetermined particular day and time to meet one of the parents having a tag of divorcees. I do not want the part-time love of my parents. I do not want to be seen in society with pity. I know a few friends facing such situations. They are having many problems, especially psychological ones dealing with day-to-day work. Even classmates and friends change their views towards a child like me while talking. I do not want to be distinguished like that. If the father or mother remarriages, the condition of the stepchild becomes more pathetic. The condition of a girl child, who is supposed to have lion’s share to carry forward all the stigma of family, religion, traditions and society, is worse in this situation.
In my view, no parents should be allowed, in any condition, to be separated if they bear a child. Their relationship should not affect the future of a child. I know nowadays, due to social changes and so many opportunities present, parenting is also changing but the ultimate sufferers are children. These are taking a toll on children. Such persons who want to marry and also want to be parents in the future are supposed to be mature enough to know their responsibilities in life. A child who witnesses their affection and well-thought approach should not be a victim in the future, in their lives, if any kind of problem arises. I am not a child of an animal. I need to fight differently for existence in the changing world and I have to learn from and live with my parents.
Our society does not have any system to tackle such children. A child like me is also the future of a nation. I want to be a doctor. Who will bear my expenses for the same? A projected cost of studies, in case of no solution and ultimate separation, should be deposited or otherwise in the direction of a respectable Court, with direction to the automatic, timely release of funds to the concerned child like me. A third party under the full supervision of the court should be given the onus to look after such children. I do not want to go to any orphanage or shelter homes where situations may not be congenial, as I have read about many unhappy incidents in such dwellings in news. I am supposed to be the best but I do not want to be the definite worst.
I should not be prey to the unnoticed reasons that culminate later in the married life of my parents. This is not the judgement that is on my price. This is a kind of death warrant for my life in the world that judges everyone on its standard. No child is ready for this. I may not talk to God but I may tell my mind here in this world. I am not the only sufferer; society is to suffer also and bear the consequences of this human-made crime. Psychological and social studies, on children like me, are of no use if not giving lessons or redressal to stop such venomous acts.
Finally, I think that this story may be repeated in a second marriage. Then again, a child may face the same situation.
At last, I want to live with both of them so my parents should be punished to live together forever in life or till I become able and become independent. I am positive in the hope that I will be the reason for the revival of their togetherness.”
The message in the drama was very clear to settle the differences in married life in view of the future of children.
Hasty decisions should be avoided and separation should be last to come to mind with the closure of all options to be under one roof. Moreover, decisions at every step in life, mainly after marriage, should be well thought out, discussed and analyzed to avoid future problems, especially those related to children. The future of a child should be ensured until he or she becomes independent.
Trees fly chirping,
Birds, rooted in the earth,
Heroes, as stars in the sky,
Stars, twinkling on earth,
Clouds, in our hands,
Water, sprinkling on the sky.
We want shortcuts.
Time is in our control,
Birth needs submission,
Death needs permission,
We dig water,
We eat air,
Our heads are down,
Our wishes are willing.
Do we dream of these?
A full topsy-turvy.
Why do we want such things?
Our imaginations and aspirations play roles in defining life in all eras. We may not accomplish all, in one life. Our unfulfilled willingness is the hunter of hunger. They are crusaders. We want to change but not ourselves. We worship but sail our ships.
We never examine our roles. We assess others’ roles. We have made God- many Gods for our use. Real God is money. We have aspirations for a virtual world – full of fictitious things in the name of pleasure and comfort. We have written our chapters of life on our terms, satiating our whims. No one wants to surrender for peace and love.
God! your lessons of love and grace are bookish and in practicality are used for fears, curses and pretentious attitudes.
God! You are being tested every day. You are needed. Your silence is taking the price of humanity. You are supposed to tell that you are the creator and you are the annihilator. One day your existence may be questioned. No one has seen you? But we love you for our sake.
You are the only hope. Otherwise, I am the best. God! You will be only a concept. A concept for the supremacy of a few.
Our concept that nature is an open book, has been understood from the day our ancestors came into existence and interacted with mighty nature. We are solely dependent on nature for our every activity from water to food and from death to life. This has given us the courage to survive, exist and protect. I think that our survival and existence are mainly food and fight-based, but protection is fear-based, depending on experience.
Nature has given us several means of natural protection. One such means is armour which gives the confidence to fight and be safe. Natural things have protective armours in different forms of covers, colours and shapes changing etc. of the outer skin or venomous liquid emitting capability and many more. But the highly developed and equipped with intelligent brains, humans need both God-gifted natural as well as self-made artificial armours. The natural armours are probably the same for all but the additional artificial armours are many and differ from individual to community to nation with the sole purpose of protective measures for safety, security and existence. This artificial aspect of armours is subjected to experimental and innovative changes for mainly holding supremacy over others. In this field of artificial development, humans are missing humanity and are confined to selfish attitudes. They have developed varieties of armours in various fields of life as per needs. Even humans are fighting with the provider, nature, for resources, for artificial armour.
Humans know about analysing problems and finding out solutions but never imagine the long-term effects or repercussions. Because of these artificial attitudes we have lost many species, rivers have dried and many civilisations that flourished near rivers are no more in existence.
Humans have checked flowing rivers for water storage in huge dams for various purposes as armour but these are proving to be water bombs in long run. Our developments have given passage to the Sun’s ultraviolet rays to harm the world. The air hasn’t been left unaffected because of pollution caused by harmful gases and dust. The earth and ocean, providers of all natural resources have been turned into dumping grounds of pollutants and are taking their last breath. Humans have not stopped here but have surrendered to their greed, lusts, unjust needs and desires of being masters of all creatures. They are peeping into the universe to prove their supremacy. They have dug their graves and have prepared cremation grounds themselves because of unwise activities.
The ultimate sufferers are humanity and nature. Humans have given emphasis to ” protection is better than cure “, in place of ” precaution is better than cure “. The cure is becoming worse due to lack of care. The care of both humanity and nature is at stake. We should not forget that ” never is not better than late ” and late should be deferred forever by being rational about minute things in mindful use.
Humanity has developed two types of cultures for protection – firstly, human rights culture and secondly, under-the-carpet culture suiting the wits. The thoughts of liberty and independence are playing nerves in such cultures. Humans have reached too far ahead to retreat from impossible artificial levels. Such protections’ unexpected outcomes are giving a number of movements. But the difference between rich and poor is a hindrance. Rich is dominating in dictating the terms. It is reflected in the policies of rich countries to give, make slaves and engulf territory as cannibal sharks. They forget to take the lesson that fire has no discrimination and will reach their area also.
Self-centred protectionism has devastated nature too. But nature which has made a congenial environment for humans’ evolution has the capacity to show the doors to extinction. The change is in the hand of nature which is occasionally giving indications in her style, silently and covertly. However, nature has cycles of an offer to exchange at par with good steps taken by humans for betterment. We have to grab the opportunities. The more one sucks, the more is chance of bleeding, causing harm to self. The balance between giving and taking is essential. The silence has enormous energy to ignite, to take precautions, to protect, care, cure and overhaul entire systems to restore originality.
Most of us are not enjoying the God-gifted life and are always in competitive mode. In a nutshell, we have lost ourselves for nothing, knowing all facts of life. Nature has shown the reality in this century’s pandemic due to which all means of protection have proved to be futile and the whole of humanity has been failing to the condition but the fight for supremacy is continuing at the same pace as before. Artificial armour is considered to be more reliable than natural ones. May almighty save humans and humanity. Artificial armour is doing more harm than good.
I have many questions causing a high degree of depression. I have medicine for that but I do not have treatment for that. If I accept the present, I am okay. If I think of myself and my life, I find that my journey starts from knowing about my whereabouts which is not seen but imagined.
I have read many suggestions and different views in literature on life’s real journey. But in this world, I am having an independent identity, so I have to have my responsibility for this mission. I have benefited from doubts from earlier experiences. I know that I have infinity as a route and the present-day GPS ( GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM ) can not assist. Our end is the new beginning and our beginning is the pleasant movement toward the end. I think that the end is more important in this journey. The vital question in this quest is of the starting point, to begin with. Who am I? Where have I come from? Where will I go? I again took the support of our ancestors’ views and thinking in this search for the truth of life. The time is the ladder taking towards refinement in thinking for these questions and doubts.
I have a name given by my parents. That is my identity to deal with in the journey of life in this materialistic and mortal world. The achievements in this journey are outcomes of my actions. I accept them as my destiny. But the questions of life remain unanswered and always alive. The search for their answers continues till last. I may guess that the limit of my speculation is beyond real answers. Even the great developments in scientific fields are unable to reach any conclusion. Science has found many answers to the secrets of nature and the universe. Science has become a creator in many aspects like God. But l think that the answers to my twin questions are in the black holes of the almighty. These black holes are invisible to scientific developments. May I imagine that all games of the almighty start from black holes? These are beyond the capacity of eyes to capture, as we may not listen to sounds after certain limits of frequency. So, I think all games of almighty may only be guessed as per individual’s limit.
Everything in the lap of the almighty is invisible. The path of our journey is through the physical body. We start from invisible through invisible in the dark place, to begin with. But I think life’s journey begins from and ends in the black holes of the almighty.
The day science will be the creator by such types of black holes the answers to my twin questions may be recorded. Till then scientific principles of the origins of both life and the universe hold acceptable barring religious theories because for the whole life of our existences and livelihoods we accept the scientific approaches in our answers in all exams.
We remain busy our whole life and forget to address many realities of life. At last, we feel frustrated and try to pass the time willy-nilly. I think that till that day of the conclusion of my twin questions, HUMANITY should get the upper hand in the world because everyone is important and has been destined to do jobs. No one is perfect and needs proper respect and support. We may bring heaven on earth like that.
Till that day of getting answers to my twin questions of life and death, we should not forget that God is the only controller of all activities. Visible and invisible are instruments of his music. But we may not listen because we are limited. We are smaller than a drop in his ocean of secrets and our knowledge is like a tiny island to boost having a niche in his world. We should not boast of that.
May I give thought to myself? I don’t want to disturb you every time. You are precious. But I do not know whether your time is yours or not. I think I should not know everything about everyone. This may cause psychological disorders and I may forget many things which need my attention for exploration of this world. Firstly, I have to explore myself. If I meet success in this journey, I have worth. But who will decide my success? I may have a series of questions. Decisions should be free of all encumbrances. Is it possible? Is it like art or creativity that everyone has something to deliver controlled by one’s concepts? Concepts do come from where? Who does give concept? What is the basis? It is sure that someone has deep exploratory thinking and gives some concepts. We accept that to avoid confusion as we do in examinations in student life. We write the accepted concepts to pass them. We may not give our thoughts because time remains limited and knowledge has to be assessed for future rat races. We are like lamb and think unidirectional. We may not think of compartments, to make whole. The system never allows us to be independent and to be ourselves. So when we start thinking of ourselves, it becomes too late in life. We spend maximum time analyzing others, both critically and affectionately depending upon relations or our comfortable approaches. We aim to get favour from every resource. We become selfish and forget ourselves.
I think we are having inner shadows veiling our realities, which may give more to the prevailing concepts. We may not get rid of such shadows until we have time for ourselves. I think creativity requires privacy, corner and zero disturbance. Life is not a business that may be sold with a sweet audible slogan. There may be an investment and someone is the investor. I think that the almighty is an investor. The almighty invested in us. He never asks for anything in return but only loves. Love of speaking truth, love of kindness, love of pardon and above all, love for each other. I think if we love each other we may explore anything. We don’t need someone to teach us, love. The best teacher, I think is a baby who loves unconditionally, not willing anything from everyone except the mother who is a multiplier of love. I think so. Mother does with love, in love, for continuity of love of hope of exploring the meaning of life someday by son or daughter of almighty. Mother is a path. Mother is a link between the invisible and visible worlds.
Love is an accepted fact for peace we should not spoil time and love each other. I think this is the only way to know oneself. The almighty will be more generous to bless us in this life. Firstly, one should judge self and assess others later. Life is like sand, not holdable at a fist. One should not wait and watch for others to take lead.
I am in search of my role in this world. One may preach to me as per ones thinking. It is the easiest job to perform. The onus of outcomes of my role will be solely mine. I may bear it. I will have to bear it. But my next question will crop up for further roles. So my role appears to be unlimited. Then I may search limit of unlimited for peace.
I have played many roles in worldly affairs at certain times as per destiny. Does my destiny fix my role? Destiny has given livelihoods and relationships for nurturing the future of self and generations to come. I have played my roles, like an ant to hoard before the rainy day, like a cow to give milk to rear offsprings, like a lion to protect my supremacy and like a rose flower to spread good fragrance etc. I have played my roles during thick and thin. I have played roles for the happiness of my dependents. They have accepted me as per their need and they have become independent. I have donated to religious places to express my gratitude to the almighty. I do not know the fate of this act. I have given alms to the poor and needy. I may have not been hundred per cent successful for all. I have tried to go beyond my limit for all possible efforts but I am to play a role other than these roles to prove my birth’s meaning as I am the most developed creature of nature. So my question is valid, despite all roles being played.
I am searching for my real role and meaning in my birth. I do not want to be limited but unlimited to all and sundry. I want to be like the wind for breathing to every needy creature of nature. I want to be like fruits bearing trees to cater to the needs of all. I want to be like a flowing river to ultimately meet the ocean and lose my existence in it. I want a role to be part of the ocean of almighty like a drop of water. Before that, I want to be light to remove the darkness in my heart and mind.
My almighty this world has several distractions to curtain your presence. So in my next birth make me blind with your glimpses in my eyes only, as I am fed up with worldly affairs. I want only one role to be yours and for you, forever. May this be my last birth and I rest in you my almighty, in the deep ocean.
The sense of belonging may be considered the universal truth. This sense is the bonding for togetherness. This sense has repercussions on the development of thoughts of ownership, conservation and preservation.
Those who pretend as relinquishers also have interests. I have in my memory the childhood story told by my beloved and handsome grandfather. I was a very stubborn child and used to cry about not getting the desired toys or anything till I got it. I was not knowing to give or share anything, even with my siblings. Then, it had been by habit. One day the same thing was in progress, but this time my grandfather was not in the mood to succumb to my habit. He took me to a house where a child was playing with self-made local and cheap toys given by his father who was not as wealthy as my grandfather was, it appeared. The boy was very happy and invited me to play with him. I played with him in the open ground, ran all around and learned a lot about sharing and giving. I was happy that day. Still, I remember, that my grandfather did not say a single word. I had got a lesson that sharing had real joy. After a few days, I was given another lesson that I came on this earth with nothing in hand and whatever I had, were earlier others’ belongings. So nothing was mine.
We get nothing from ownership of worldly materials but temporary satisfactions followed by cravings for another item. It is a never-ending process. Though we know all from our forefathers we forget it in the nick of time. Any power gets the work done.
We may compare ourselves to the construction of a building. We get construct buildings at selected sites with the erection of frames having holding and sustainability capacity with a particular life period of existence. We construct buildings for different purposes and uses. Accordingly interior of a building is designed which may differ from each other. The tastes of the master and members of the family are also reflected.
At last, after all, worldliness, the fate of a building depends upon the nature of its dwellers and other unexpected situations. But who is the owner of that house? In an actual sense, everyone is the owner because ownership is passed on from one to another at a suitable time. The house is one but the master changes so no one is the owner but everyone is the owner.
Likewise is the case with all of us. The almighty, before whom we all have to surrender someday, indicates that we are having none of our will to say something or do anything without his permission.
He has put the soul in a strong frame of a skeleton with an outer protecting skin cover and many functional systems comprising several organs fitted within the frame. Some of the systems are functional from birth while some become functional at a particular, appropriate time of need and age. The control of all systems is coded in a complicated brain which makes everyone different from each other in behaviours, compassion, submission and protection etc. All scientific developments have not reached the level of solving the complex structure of the controller’s brain. It is a simple looking most complicated structure of almighty.
When a simple creation of God may control the whole body’s systems then think of the unimaginative power of God in controlling the world. We may think of other creatures of God and should be thankful to him for the fraction of controlling power given to us. But alas! this gift of the body is not permanent and is taken back by the almighty at the defined time prescribed by him. The time of departure may or may not be the same for everyone but it is certainly played.
At last, my body is not mine. I am a custodian of it. Then what is mine? Why am I involved in worldly affairs? Why are all these show businesses of might, fight and supremacy? The almighty knows and enjoys.
Once again I am remembering the story told by my grandfather when I was a stubborn child. Nothing is mine.
I have come into the world without anything and will leave it with nothing. I have come from the invisible and I will return to the invisible. Whatever role I play is not written by me but is being played by me and written by a controller, the God.
Is soul mine? The Indian Sanatan religion in the pious book, “the Gita” says that the soul is also because of the almighty. So the soul is also not mine. Whatever, I do, all because of that almighty. Then what is mine? Nothing is mine but everything is mine for satisfaction and happiness for a short duration.
I am grateful to almighty that nothing is mine. Everything and everyone is from him and for him. I am at his disposal. He is my master and I am free of all encumbrances. May God bless all.
When I smiled at flowers, they laughed.
When I cried at my fault, they laughed.
When I wept on my fate, they laughed.
When I fell because of them, they laughed.
When I slipped due to ignorance, they laughed.
When I missed a chance, they laughed.
When I remembered you, they laughed.
When I excused their faults, they laughed.
When I enjoyed my loneliness, they laughed.
When I shared my views, they laughed.
When I cared about their systems, they laughed.
When I failed in my attempts, they laughed.
When I passed the hurdles, they laughed.
When I changed myself, they laughed.
When I worked for them, they laughed.
When I slept in peace, they laughed.
When I wanted a favour, they laughed.
When I wrote my grievance, they laughed.
When I lost my beloved, they laughed.
When I worshipped my God, they laughed.
They judged me. They commented on me and my feelings. They expressed their attitudes, faith and hate. They killed me in their thoughts.
They have different moralities. They have developed their standards. They are doers. They are decision takers. They are implementors. They are assessors. They govern. They are true by themselves. They have a complex of greatness.
My almighty call me back. I have crossed the tolerance limit given by you. Even you have been defined and limited to their whims. They know how to twist your teachings.
Almighty! may you delimit your existence. I am to live in this world as per your wish, but your existence is at stake. You are being exchanged with their attitudes and dictatorships. Fear of your wrath is their strength. You are like a rubber stamp. You are a seal, taken for granted. They are two-edged swords. You have been divided for their convenience.
Now the question comes – who is supreme? Who is the controller? What is the reality? Who will bell the cat? Only darkness appears to be a distinguished reality. Your light is awaited again. You matter the most.
